 Pastor's Welcome

I welcome you to our St. Bridget School website and invite you to explore our pages to see the fascinating and exciting things happening in our school!

As we begin this new school year, I am so excited to see the classrooms and hallways filled with our students and extraordinary faculty. The summer was a busy time around here as we welcomed Mrs. Kingston as our new Principal and, together with Ms. Murray, we worked hard to hire exceptional and talented educators and prepare our building to be an environment for success.

But nothing compares to seeing God’s children fill our school with their excitement and how blessed we are to welcome so many new students this year. Our students are the best! They are eager to learn, they are fervent in prayer, and they are ready and willing to serve others.

This year promises to be filled with opportunities for growth, learning, and spiritual development. Our Catholic school is not just a place of academic excellence but also a nurturing environment where faith is at the heart of all we do. We are committed to helping each student grow in wisdom, knowledge, and grace.

I have said in my homilies at our weekly Friday school Masses that our students enter our doors to learn, and they leave to serve. There is no greater testimony to the life of our school family then witnessing our students as they grow in knowledge and then seeing them give of themselves to our school family, the parish, and the wider community. In partnership with parents, our dedicated teachers and staff work tirelessly to create a vibrant, supportive, and faith-filled community. Together, we aim to form young hearts and minds who will not only succeed in their studies but also carry the light of Christ into the world.

I do hope you would come for a tour and see all that we have in store for the new academic year. I want every family to consider St. Bridget School as an option for you and your children. Let nothing stop you from coming for a visit, and considering our parish school as the place for your child or children to excel in academics within a faith-based environment.

St. Bridget School not only excels in academics with the majority of our students testing more than a grade level higher than their peers in other schools, but we also achieve so much more. There is something greater here. We truly tend to the whole child and this is evidenced in the strong programs that enhance our curriculum whether it is music, art, drama, robotics, our makerspace classroom, or our championship athletics; in it all we strive to bring out the best in each student of St. Bridget School. All of this is supported by and accomplished by integrating faith into every aspect of our school day, seen most clearly in the character formation, and certainly in the work of our student ministry.

In St. Bridget School, each and every student learns that God has an essential place in their everyday lives. They also learn the importance of having concern for one another and sharing God’s love with others through our words and actions. At St. Bridget School, each individual treats others with love and respect, in fact we treat each other like family for we are a family. We educate, nurture, and empower our students to serve the parish and community and make a positive difference in the lives of others. Our students enter to learn, but leave to serve. They go forth empowered to make a difference in the world around them.
