Principal's Welcome
Hello and Welcome,
Thank you for taking the time to learn about our wonderful Pre-K-Grade 8 school. Whether you are already a member of our St. Bridget School family or are considering joining us, we are happy you are here. As Principal of St. Bridget School, it is my sincere pleasure to share the unique opportunities, philosophies, and values of our happy, engaging, faith-based school.
At St. Bridget School, we believe in modeling and teaching the principles of faith, compassion, respect, and perseverance, creating an educational environment that blends rigorous intellectual pursuits with physical, moral, and spiritual development. We value the importance of a successful learning environment that provides effective, engaging research-based instructional practices, multiple modes of learning, and a beautiful array of opportunities for our students to find their individual God-given gifts and talents.
As you walk through the hallways of St. Bridget School, you will see smiling students and staff who greet one another by name. At SBS, we consider ourselves a school family that values the importance of relationships. We learn together, celebrate together, pray together, and encourage one another.
At St. Bridget School, we have the unique opportunity to grow in our wisdom, compassion, and love and service for others. Under the guidance of our Pastor and Priest Director, Father Jeffrey V. Romans, students, families, and staff flourish in the knowledge that the development of strong faith enables us to have empathy for others, find gratitude in all moments, and trust and feel carried in times of adversity.
Our devoted clergy, teachers, staff, and families work together to create a safe and nurturing environment, where youth are supported and encouraged to exhibit strong faith, persistent effort, and compassion and respect for others in order to live as respectful, resourceful, inquiring, and contributing global citizens.
Our success as a school community is based on dedication, collaboration, and the understanding that the foundation of all success is based on the development of positive relationships. At St. Bridget School, we understand and value the importance of communication and collaboration.
St. Bridget School has an inclusive and actively engaged parent community, as well as a thriving, actively involved HSA (Home School Association). Through the generosity and dedication of our families and HSA, we are blessed with many inclusive and joyful events throughout the year.
Our school offers an array of opportunities to expand upon student interests, allowing students to find their passions, gifts, and talents; at St. Bridget, students are able to explore the arts, STEM (science, technology, engineering, math), world language, cheerleading, sports, and literature.
Our friendly and welcoming Admissions and Advancement Director, Mrs. Courtney Hansen, is always ready and willing to take you on a tour of our special school, share about exciting events, and take you through her own personal experiences as the proud mother of two alumni of SBS. We are a family at St. Bridget School, and we celebrate the unique gifts and talents of all.
All are welcome at St. Bridget School; those of the Catholic faith and those of all other faiths. As a school community, we model the love of Jesus, and we welcome all. Inclusion, which the Holy Father, Pope Francis, says is an “aspect of mercy,” reaches out to everyone without regard for social conditions, language, race, culture, or religion. It manifests in each person’s love “as God loves them.”
At SBS, we welcome you to join us in volunteer opportunities, celebrations, and in sharing your talents and gifts with the school community. We value and appreciate your knowledge and experiences.
Please explore our school website in its entirety and learn about all those who have come together to create a faith-based, safe, nurturing environment that fosters a lifelong love of learning, physical, moral, and spiritual development, and the life skills needed to be a happy, compassionate, successful whole person in a changing global world.
It would be my pleasure to meet or speak with you at any time. I am honored to serve as Principal of St. Bridget School and feel extremely blessed to have been given the opportunity to blend effective, equitable education with faith-based principles.

Yours sincerely,
Mrs. Angelita J. Kingston
Principal
